Swedish Championship Snocross 2015
So finally we got the dates and places for the Swedish Championship Snocross for 2015-season. The championship will be run in a total of four competitions. Where the fourth is the final where you can get lots of extra points.

Swedish Championship Supercross 2015
The Swedish Championship Supercross will be arranged in Örebro at the SM-veckan (Swedish Championships Week). The track will be build at the Örebro Trot Arena and race will be live broadcasted by Swedish Television.

Sweden Cup Snocross 2015
The national Sweden Cup Snocross has almost all dates finished. The Cup are arranged for the classes Youth 12-14, Youth 14-16 and Semi Pro Stock.

To make sure you get a startingplace in Pro Stock it´s a good idea to enter as soon as possible. The class can take 96 drivers and it fills up pretty fast.
Maximum drivers in the rest of the classes: Pro Open 64, Woman 32, U14-16 32, U12-14 32.
It´s time for ISOC season opener in Duluth and therefore Clash of Nations Malin Murmester and Mats Stenman travels to USA. Their goal is to invite American drivers to Clash of Nations, Europe´s biggest extremesport event.
– We travel to Duluth for the third time to invite the American drivers. The trip is an important part in our ambition to get the best riders in the world to Falun in march. We´re going to meet all the international drivers and invites them to Falun to make a fight of the medals, says Malin Murmester.
The extremesport event Clash of Nations is arranged for the fourth time the 27-28th om March at Lugnet Arena in Falun 2015. During the two day event the world class athletes will compete in Freestyle Snowmobile, Super Snowcross and Mountainbike Dual. Clash of Nations has had drivers from six different nations and 10000 spectators earlier years.
Last weekend it was premiere for the new Lynx racing sled. It´s stronger, has better handling, new rear suspension, and improved track. Today we got the official press release and by that we have seen the new racing sleds from all brands.
Lynx continues to invest in three good drivers. Representing Sweden it will be Emil Öhman who had great expectations to live up to last season when he did his first season at home turf for years. Unfortunately he was stopped by an accident early on the season. The two time Snocross World Champion Emil Öhman did however manage to bring home two heavy silver medals from Arctic Cat Cup and Snocross World Championship. This summer he has also competed successfully in European Championship in Rallycross, where he ended up on a total fifth place. That in the highest division and his first year.
Lynx also supports two more drivers and thats last seasons grand sensation Elias Ishoel from Norway and Aki Pihlaja from Finland.
The so far biggest snowmobile team is Team E-son Maskin. Supporting no less than nine drivers competing in Swedish Championship snocross and hillclimb and Sweden Cup Snocross. On top in the venture is three time Snocross World Champion Peter Ericson. Peter is also back driving Lynx Snowmobiles.
– I´m certain that Peter still has a lot of speed in his body. And with this seasons racemachine from Lynx he will compete well in Pro Open, even though maybe not all the way to the top, says team manager and chief mechanic Robert Granberg.
But as we mentioned earlier, Peter is far from alone in Team E-son Maskin. Here is a presentation of the whole team.

– At E-son Maskin we live for snowmobile racing since a lot of the staff has been or still race. Therefore it´s especially exciting to present a team that´s has a lot of drivers with a lot of span in the diciplines. Make sure you will notice us on the tracks this winter, says Robert.
Team Mellanströms Motor continues to have quite a big team season 2014/2015. Most interesting member is of course Petter Nårsa with two gold medals from Swedish Championship and lots of successes in the Nordic circuits and at the ISOC-series.
But Petter is not the only good driver in the team. We have also Mathias Johansson 8th place in last seasons Swedish Championship in Pro Stock, Mathilda Johansson 5th place in last seasons Swedish Championship in Ladies class, Fanny Wikström 12th place in Sweden Cup Youth 14-16, Emil Hansson and Albin Lundqvist 11th place in last seasons Swedish Championship plus lots of victorys and podiums at the ISOC-series.
Nisse had a really good flow last season with a 3rd place in both Swedish Championship and World Championship. Sebastian, first year senior, had also a impressive season where he became Nordic Champion and also won Sweden Cup in the class Youth 14-16. Sebastian will have support from Åsarna Skoterservice.
But of course that´s not all the Polaris riders on the Swedish circuit. Here are some of the drivers who has their own team but drives Polaris: Henrik Revelj, Jonas Stenberg (switches to Polaris this season), Dennis Jonsson, Ronja Revelj and Oscar Hedman.
– The season 2014-2015 I will switch brand to Arctic Cat who has chosen to support me in a fantastic way. I´m extremely psyched for a new snocross season on a new brand, says Petter in a press release.
To cut some time off the admin the startnumber classes has been put together. For example if you have startnumber 5 in snocross class Pro Stock, you will also have number 5 when you compete in hillclimb or cross country. Until 31:st of October the numbers are locked for those who used them previous season in the admin system SVEMO TA. From the 1:st of november all unbooked numbers will be free too book for anyone. The priority follows:
- Swedish drivers are in priority before foreign drivers.
- Elite drivers are in priority before senior and junior drivers.
- Drivers that took places 1-3 in last seasons Snocross Swedish Championship are in priority in for those numbers next season.
- Snocross drivers are in priority before hillclimb and cross country drivers.
- If priority order above can determine the right to a certain number, contact with concerned drivers can be taken to share a number.
Swedish driver who competes internationally in other countries top division can get elite licence after application to SVEMO Snowmobile Section.
SVEMO Snowmobile Section has the right to revoke elite licence.
In classes Pro Open and Racer you can use a fuel with free option of octane rating, oxygene content and density. As long as the fuel is provided from a fule supplier in it´s original content.
Larger whoops are allowed in both snocross and hillclimb.
Clarification about yellow flag: It is allowed to pass lapped driver if he/she makes room to pass in a safe way.
Swedish Championship consists of three qualification race and one final. Every qualification race generates points that the 16 best drivers then takes with them to the final. Every heat in the final is worth double points opposite each qualification race final heat. This adjustment is made to get the drivers to compete in all the qualification race, but well in the Swedish Championship final, those points will be more.
In Swedish Championship qualification race the top three in each class will get machine maintanance. SVEMO Snowmobile Section will provide machine maintanance in the Swedish Championship final.
Sweden Cup is arranged as earlier with three qualification race in the North division and three qualification race in the South divison. The eight best drivers from each division and class will meet in a joint final (the same weekend as the SC-final). The class Semi Pro Open will be terminated due to low participation recent years.
Swedish Supercross Championship is arranged at the Swedish Championship Week in Örebro week number 5 2015. This year the championship is open only to drivers with Swedish licence and who are competing for a Swedish snowmobile och motor club. Top 10 from SSC 2014 are directly qualified and the 20 remaining drivers are nominated by SVEMO Snowmobile Section.
Swedish Championship/National Championship is arranged with three qualification race in the North divison and the South division. The eight best drivers from each division and class will meet in a joint final.
Pro Open will be terminated as SC-class. Drivers with Pro Open machines are allowed to compete in the Racer class.
National Championship status is held in classes Youth 12-14, Youth 14-16, Sport 800 and Sport 800 Ladies.
It´s not allowed to double in a SC-class and in a NC-class.
Swedish Championship is held with one or several race where the points is added together to a final standing.
The SC-classes are Pro Stock and Sport 800.
